Background and Interests
Cindy has been working in the Department of Psychology at the University of New Orleans since January 1992. Before working here, she was employed at the LSU Medical Center in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, the Kresge Hearing Research Laboratory. Prior to that, she worked for the Louisiana Department of Vocational Rehabilitation. She was born and raised in New Orleans, graduated from St. Mary's Dominican High School, and attended several semesters at UNO. She has one son, Brad, and lives in Metairie, LA. Cindy is a member of the UNO Staff Council and chairs the Council Concerns Committee. Cindy is also a member of the Jefferson Chapter of the Alliance for Good Government and is member of the Research Committee, the Legislative of the Year Award Committee, and is Chair of the Membership Committee
