Welcome to the Psychology Undergraduate
Student Central Page
The current psychology graduate page provides useful information about the UNO psychology major as well as other information about the field of psychology. Whether you are interested in majoring or minoring in Psychology, the Undergraduate Student Central Page is designed to assist you in achieving all of your academic goals. For example, the sample psychology schedule can help you design a feasible course schedule (and make sure you have all the prerequisites) throughout the 4-year period. If you would like to make suggestions/comments regarding this new addition to the web, please e-mail the Undergraduate Coordinator, Dr. Carl Weems.
You can learn more about your professors and graduate students by clicking "Directory".
You can learn more about what you can do with a bachelor’s degree in psychology – from continuing on to graduate school or pursuing counseling, clinical or law-related work. UNO’s Emeritus Professor Leighton Stamps, Ph.D., provides helpful guidelines for the breadth of the field as well as the requirements to pursue each future direction. We’ve also provided a list of career opportunities and services to help with the career search.
Finally, you can learn more about other psychological organizations and psychology-related links, including PSI CHI, the national honor society in psychology.
