The Mothers and Preschoolers Project Team

Welcome! The Mothers and Preschoolers Study (MAPS) is located within the Department of Psychology at the University of New Orleans.

The goal of MAPS is to learn about how the quality of family relationships during early childhood influence children's adjustment in school. Families participating in MAPS have children enrolled in either an Orleans or Jefferson Parish Head Start center and who also have a 2 year old child. We are one of the few projects considering the importance of sibling relationships during early childhood.
