Scott Mirabile

Biography

Scott was born in New Orleans and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Clemson University in South Carolina in May of 2003 with a B.A. in Psychology. Scott earned his M.S. in Psychology in 2006 from the University of New Orleans , where he is currently in his fourth year of studies. As a research assistant to Dr. Laura Scaramella, Scott is studying the socialization of emotion regulation and how parent- and child-factors influence the socialization process. Scott's current roles in Dr. Scaramella's MAPS project include co-managing the observational coding lab, training observational coders, observational coding, training camerapersons, filming interviews, and managing MAPS video and computing equipment.
