Project Coordinator Position Available The Department of Psychology of the University of New Orleans anticipates hiring a Project Coordinator position starting June 1, 2008 pending final approval. The position will be a 12-month appointment with the possibility of renewing for additional years. The position is funded by a grant from the MacArthur Foundation’s Models for Change in Juvenile Justice program. The coordinator will help to manage several large data sets from four juvenile justice systems in Louisiana. The coordinator will also coordinate requests from juvenile justice agencies for technical support and help coordinate research projects funded by the MacArthur Foundation in Louisiana. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, criminology, or a related field. Applicants should also have experience in managing large data sets. Experience in using statistical programs for data analyses in social science research is also desired.
